Bluetooth handset for wireless satellite voice communications
The EXPLORER Bluetooth handset is a cordless
telephone handset designed to connect
wirelessly via Bluetooth to satellite terminals
such as the Thrane & Thrane EXPLOR ERs. That
way you can talk on the phone with anybody
anywhere in the world – without strings.
Wireless and long ranging
When working in the field, cables can be a nuisance. They limit freedom of movement and can take a while to untangle for use.
With the EXPLORER Bluetooth handset you enhance the portability of your EXPLORER terminal, by enabling wireless voice communications from anywhere in the world. You get all the basic
features of a regular cellular telephone, e.g. call back, phone book, caller ID and a list of last calls.
Furthermore, the range of the
handset is so long that you can actually wander up to 100 metres (328 ft) away from your terminal without loosing touch. Inside,
you can make calls two or three rooms away from your terminal, depending on the layout of the building. With The EXPLORER
Bluetooth handset, range is both long and without tangles.
